Alec graduated high school in May of 2016 from Cavalier, North Dakota. After high school he attended college at North Dakota State University where he was involved in multiple student organizations and student government. He became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon in Fall of 2016 and while active served in various roles within his chapter and the community. In 2019 he was elected to the Interfraternity Council as President and helped facilitate a new fraternity on campus while maintaining relations with the other active chapters. In November of 2020 Alec transferred to Arizona State University to finish his undergraduate degree in Political Science with an International Studies Certificate. Alec is continuing his education and is pursuing a Masters degree in International Affairs and Leadership through Arizona State University,
