We've practiced law the traditional way.
We decided to do it differently.
Between us, we've spent decades practicing law. We've worked within the traditional legal system, handled complicated cases, counseled clients through difficult decisions, built practices and businesses, litigated disputes and watched what happens when people enter the legal system during some of the most vulnerable or consequential moments of their lives. Experience taught us how to practice law.
It also taught us there has to be a better way to practice it.
One that starts with the person, not the case file.
One that recognizes technically correct legal advice isn't necessarily the right advice for every client.
One that considers the family, business, finances, relationships, history and future behind the legal question.
One where people can ask questions before everything becomes a crisis.
And one where experience gives us the confidence to recognize:
There isn't one right way to handle every situation. That's why we're building Longtin Law Office differently.
Your Family. Your Business. Your Wealth. Your Life. You built it. We're here to help you protect it.
TWO EXPERIENCED ATTORNEYS.
ONE SHARED VISION.

DEANNA LONGTIN
Founder & Attorney
Deanna is the founder and driving force behind Longtin Law Office's purpose-driven approach to practicing law. Warm, candid and highly approachable, Deanna has a way of getting quickly to what is really happening — not simply what appears in the legal documents.
She believes clients need a place where they can speak openly about the things that may be difficult, uncomfortable or uncertain. A place where they can ask the questions they aren't ready to ask anyone else. Her job isn't to tell clients how to live their lives. It's to make sure they understand their legal position, recognize the choices available to them and think strategically about what comes next.
Because Deanna believes: Preparation creates choices. The more clearly clients understand their options, the better equipped they are to protect the life they've built — or create the life they want next.

MARGARET “PEGGY” SMITH REPLOGLE
Senior Associate
Peggy has been practicing law since 1998 and brings decades of experience — and perspective — to Longtin Law Office. Her career has included family law, business matters, civil litigation and child-welfare matters, as well as years operating her own law practice. She has represented families through divorce, custody, support and other deeply personal matters.
Long before joining Longtin Law Office, Peggy was questioning traditional approaches to legal representation — particularly the assumption that every difficult legal situation has to become a battle. She believed there had to be a better way. Peggy brings a thoughtful, analytical and highly focused approach to the firm's family law, business law and estate planning practices.
Her approach is measured, thorough and deliberate. Underneath it is the same philosophy that drives Longtin Law Office: The client is never just a case.
DIFFERENT STRENGTHS.
THE SAME PHILOSOPHY.
We don't believe great lawyers have to look, sound or practice exactly alike. In fact, we think our differences make us better. Deanna brings connection, conversation and big-picture perspective. Peggy brings deep analysis, focus and attention to the details that turn strategy into action.
Together, we bring decades of legal experience and a shared belief that the old way of practicing law isn't the only way. We listen before we prescribe. We look beyond the immediate legal issue. We tell clients what they need to know — even when it isn't necessarily what they hoped to hear. We believe prevention can be every bit as valuable as reaction. And we believe the best legal strategy starts by understanding the person whose life will actually be affected by it.
